David was with God, and God was with David.

It seems to me that David and the wisdom to obey, the understanding of what it was that God would do for him. As long as he did, what God commanded.

The Philstines send Goliath, a giant of a man.

Goliath thinks there is no man that can take him down.

David arrives and his brothers question him, why are you here?

David becomes concerned about what is going on?

Goliath makes an offer to Saul and his army.

No one steps forward, so David goes to Saul. David explains how he was able to save his flock from their enemies of…

Title: Discern who my fight is with. Verse: [1 Sam.17:28] And when Eliab his brother heard the words which David spake unto the people, he was wroth with David, and said unto him, Why hast thou come down hither, and to whom hast thou committed the sheep that are in the field? For I know thy pride, and the hardness of thine heart: thou art come to see war. Discovery: David, in obedience to his father's word, had come to his brothers, who were at war with the Philistines, and he was angry at the Philistines for insulting God. Even though the Philistines were clearly the common enemy, Eliab, the eldest brother, is angry with David, saying, "You have come to watch the war,…
