Day 11: Covering All the Bases
Reflecting and Recording
Think about the ACTS prayer pattern ( adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication). What aspects of life does each type of prayer enable you to touch and relate to?
As you look at your total prayer life, which of the elements in the ACTS pattern do you find yourself using most?
Are there any that have not received proper emphasis or expression?
Relating
Have you ever had a time in your life when, like Wesley, you could not pray?
Why were you unable to pray?
Are you able to pray about that circumstance now?
How did you come to the place where you can pray about it?
Or, if you are still unable to pray about it, why is this so?
