So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
I have a Bible study partner. We “meet” by phone every Sunday night at 6:00. The name of the study in this cycle is “Stuck” and it examines several emotions. We discuss how we use God’s Word to see where the Lord is in each one of them so we can move ahead in victory. The emotion we’re studying this week is “fear”.
One of the weekly questions in the study is: Who are You, Lord? What do You want from me?
Isaiah 39-42
Not only to Concluded the Prophecy, most of the prior chapters are repeated, but to be very memorable and meaningful.
The pride, the folly more celebration, In Gods name.
The sentence passed. Submission to patients, patients to the sentencing.
The will of God that his people be comforted , even in the worse of time …
Words of conviction are followed by words to comfort… such as “ for he who has torn .. will heal us .. “
God and only God delivers us ..
He comforts and delivers, … walk with God ..
Heavenly Father thank you for your care and compassion, for the countless sacrifices and answers to my prayers.. for listening and forgiving you…
