Thank you, Linda. I found this book so interesting especially in light of Nehemiah's proclamation that Jews should not marry into outside families. But here we see God using Esther and Mordechai to protect his people. God is truly with us in whatever situation we find ourselves in.
Esther 1-3
Esther and Mordecai instruments of deliverance.
We see nor hear any reference of God in these chapters. However, His work can be seen. For we know that he sees everything
Once again, there’s a plot to demolish the Jews. But there’s a twist Esther, who is a Jew becomes queen. It seems beauty can be very distracting.
Several things can be seen, very instructive, and of great use, but the design of recording the story of it shows how ways were made for Esther to be crowned. There are plots and planning, deceit.
The old saying, when once one sits to deceive, one can be easily deceived

It’s the longest of any woman in Scripture and it takes place entirely outside of Israel. Although the word “God” is not mentioned at all in the book of Esther, His presence is seen. He set the stage for Esther to be chosen Queen to save the Jewish people from an evil plot planned by Haman. In addition, God also places Mordecai in the “right place at the right time” to uncover a plot to…
