Whenever I think about the Holy Spirit, I think about the New Testament first and I always wondered where He was in the Old Testament. The above verses tell me He was always there guiding God’s people just as He did in the New Testament and just as He does today.

Sounds heart is changed, “ and it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from, Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.” 1 Samuel.10:9
So here, Samuel is going to pass the reins over to Saul. And the Lord does confirm this choice. But once again God has Samuel talk to the people again. He confirms with Samuel not to be angry for the people who have not turned their back against Samuel. But yet they have…
