Deuteronomy 21:23

God is straight forward with these instructions. He sets rules on how to handle those who break his laws.

This is very hard to understand today. But then I put it in to whom God was speaking to and how that was something they would understand.

Although we are told “ God is the same today, tomorrow and yesterday. I thank God for sending His son Jesus Christ to shows us the way and forgiving us for our sins.

Prayer

Lord

Thank you for your message, I know no one is perfect. Only your son Jesus Christ who came to teach us, love us and show compassion and forgiveness. Even to die for us, because you love us…

Deuteronomy 21 -23


Here’s where we learn about atonement, Marriage ofcaptive females, the inheritance rights when a man takes two wives. We also see various laws, laws concerning sexual immortality. We see those who are excluded, the uncleanliness , where they live in a camp and more miscellaneous loss.


Personal reflection


This section different from the God of forgiveness the god of lenience. It seems more a stringent, strict forceful. The stoning of women ,children, men. No mention of forgiveness. I had a conversation with Tim on this one.

The treatment it seems of women in Iraq and overseas, the punishments of people, the stoning, still taking place even now, even in this day. Are they following the segment of…
