20230307 [Deuteronomy 29:2-6]/ [Deuteronomy 29:18-21]

4 But to this day the LORD has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear... I did this so that you might know that I am the LORD your God." / 19 When such a person hears the words of this oath and they invoke a blessing on themselves, thinking, "I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way," they will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry.

I can actually picture myself being carried to safety by God. I have been feeling very despondent lately and I really needed to read and "see" this. I can feel His love and compass…

Renewal of our covenant with God

Prosperity after turning to the Lord

Gods offer of life or death

We learned that Moses will not go any further, and let Joshua take his place. Moses reads to the public the laws. Israel’s rebellion has predicted, and we learn the song.

Personal reflection

As we can turn as we continue to learn about the covenant that God wants from us. There is no gray area here. It is 100% all in or 100% out. It doesn’t seem like there’s a whole lot of room for mistakes. I think at this point I’m thinking God has really had enough of mankind turning against him. He created the garden of Eden and we…
