1 Chronicles 14-16


And David listened.


He shows great love for God. He honors him by listening, by obeying, following his direction.


He takes action. But not without consultation with God. Before entering in to anything he consults with God. It shows great wisdom on his part. It shows his faith is strong. And it’s trust in God is great.


He brings the ark, and places it in the center. He appoints those who were selected or chosen specifically by God. To take action to show praise love and devotion, for what God has provided us. His faith is not waver, and his actions are for that of God.


David has a way of not only listening, hearing, and believing…

Title: First Things First, Most Important Things


Scripture: [1 Chr 15:1]

And David built a palace for himself in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and made a tabernacle for it.

- When David was traveling, building a temple, or building a palace, there was one thing he did first. The first thing he did was to prepare a place for the ark of God, and the first thing he did was to work on the ark of God.
