2 Chronicles 29-30
Finally, we’re back to a pleasant scene, a good glorious reign - from 25 year olds Hezekiah . His reign shows more God and religion, then all the good reigns that we’ve seen so far.
He was a very devout and good man, zealous and not like others. The work on the reformation of Gods temple was given with great vigor, immediately after he was crowned.
He open the doors of the house of God once again. He took great care and took the Levites with him as he cleanse the temple and put things in Gids house back in order. God was pleased. He corrected all of Gods ordinances that have been neglected for years. H…
Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he became king, he had heard and seen others pull away from God and destroy what was good . He saw how this effected those who were his people.
Hezekiah loved God, he remembers the love and messages his ancestor David had shared.
God is with Hezekiah and Hezekiah is with God.
10 Now I intend to make a covenant with the Lord, the God of Israel, so that his fierce anger will turn away from us. 11 My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before him and serve him, to minister before him and to burn incense.”
